Jesmonite is a non-toxic water-based resin system, making it a safe alternative to the traditional epoxy resin, and therefore more environmentally friendly. It is fun and can be worked in a multitude of ways to achieve stunning outcomes.

Although durable, like any decorative homeware piece of this type, Gesa Creation items are breakable. If dropped from a high distance onto harder flooring, the piece can chip or break entirely. Our handcrafted homeware decor is meant to become a staple piece for years to come, so please place them in safe environments far away from pets and small children. 

Each item is sealed and can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap, if needed. It is advised to wipe off strong contaminants, such as wine or coffee, as soon as possible or it may stain the product.

In order to maintain your Gesa product, it is important to re-apply a small coating of beeswax periodically. Depending how often you use your product, the re-application will vary. An indication that a re-application is needed is seen once you notice that liquid is no longer beading on top of the product.

Although our products are not waterproof, they are water-resistant due to the application of our sealant, and therefore should not be absorbing any liquid that may fall onto it.  

All Gesa products are NOT dishwasher or microwave safe.

All of our Jesmonite creations are mixed, poured, sanded and sealed individually by hand. As such, the colours and patterns may vary slightly from the picture. Air bubbles may be seen (mostly on the bottom), which is a normal characteristic that occurs when using this material. This so what makes each item, one of a kind.

YES! Gesa Creations actually started the business with custom orders. we pride ourselves in creating custom orders that fit your lifestyle and decor. To create your own custom piece, please send an email to gesacreations@gmail.com with your ideas, colour schemes, and preferred style. From there, we will work together to make your vision come to life.

Please keep in mind that all of our colours are mixed by hand and although we try our best, at times, your requested colour may appear a few shades different than the colour originally requested. It is important to note that during the curing process, the colours will also sometimes lighten or darken. 

Custom orders can take 1 to 2 weeks to produce.

Although our pieces are water-resistant, they are not waterproof. They cannot be used as a soap bar holder, and are not meant to be used in the shower. If you would like to use it to display either your hand or dish soap in the kitchen or in the bathroom, please use a soap dispenser and place the soap dispenser onto our product. Should any excess soap or water drip onto the product, please wipe immediately with a dry cloth. 

We currently do not ship in or out of Canada online. However, if you would like to purchase an item and have it shipped in Canada, please email us at gesacreations@gmail.com and we will to make it happen.

All local orders can be picked up or delivered in Pierrefonds or Saint-Leonard located in Montreal, Quebec.  

We welcome all wholesale orders for any event; however, we ask for a 3 month advance, and a 30% deposit of the total cost of the order. We do not use any pigment or terrazzo styles for our wholesale orders; therefore, all items must be created in our staple and elegant oat colour. Please contact us for a preview of the item you would like in this colour. 

We love to make party favours as it makes us feel as though we are part of your special day. Similar to wholesale orders, depending on the quantity we may only be able to make the items in our oat colour. Should the order be smaller in quantity (under 20 pieces) we can explore further colour combinations and styles.
